Danny Watson (Talkshow host) and Tim Dyer (GM Operations Christchurch) from New Zealand Media and Entertainment (NZME), joined the team at Scott Base as event K242-1414-J  to broadcast a radio show from Scott Base to raise awareness of our work in Antarctica, provide context to the public of New Zealand of the relavance of our work in Antarctica and the Soutrhern Ocean and to provide human interest stories around the people that work in Antarctica

They successfully completed 6 live broadcasts back to NZ and engaged with talkback callers from across NZ. They also excelled in their outreach capbility providing 7 web-based daily diaries, several short videos and considerable social media commentary.
