Studies this season were twofold:

(a) a continuation of the long term skua population at Hallett, started by Brian Read during the 1958/59 summer season and continuing since that time.

(b) A study of Adelie Penguin food and feeding of chicks| ie a quantatative and qualitative analysis of penguin stomach contents throughout the breeding season
